Membership
What kind of membership are you interested in?
All membership options are pay what you can. If finances are a barrier to membership, talk to us about it – especially if you are low-income and Black, Indigenous, POC, disabled, chronically ill, and/or transgender.
Weekday membership (Monday-Friday 9am-6pm + events, $25-50/month)
24-7 membership (24-7 access, $100-200/month)
Project membership (priority access to workspaces during scheduled times, fees determined case by case)
What amount are you able to realistically pay for studio membership each month?
Refer to the sliding scale above. For transparency, our rent is ~2k & our main income source is membership. Please let us know if finances are a barrier (priority to low-income QTBIPOC folks).

Space Access & Policies
As a member, you’ll have access to communal desk spaces, a shared library, and specialized equipment (riso printer, VR gear, music equipment, cameras, and more). Does this meet your needs?

All members share the responsibility of caring for our collective studio. Do you agree to clean up after yourself, and occasionally others?
This includes making sure that there is no food left out when you leave (even when it’s not yours), and taking out the trash if you’re at the studio on a Wed or Sun evening.

For transparency, we've been having a rat issue as of late July 2025. Is this a deal breaker for you?
We are aware of the health risks that come with rodent exposure (Hantavirus etc.). An exterminator came by and left poison on the 28th. We’ve been taking measures to rat-proof the space and found a dead rat on Aug 7. We don’t know yet if this will be an ongoing issue. You’re welcome to use the free KN95 masks at the entrance as well.

Masks (KN95 or better) are required on Wednesdays and Fridays, midnight to midnight. Does this work for you?

There are sometimes dogs in the space. Is this ok for you?
We ask people to announce in Signal before they bring a dog, so folks know what to expect. We’re working on a new pet policy to clarify further.
